Search engine optimization
March 7, 2008 | Filed Under Whiplash |Getting your chiropractic website at the top of the search engines is an important goal — but be wary of companies that promise you high rankings for a charge.
Some of these companies may temporarily get your site a high ranking, but they may do it in ways that will eventually harm your site’s ranking.
As Google states on it’s website:
- No one can guarantee a #1 ranking on Google.Beware of SEOs that claim to guarantee rankings, allege a “special relationship” with Google, or advertise a “priority submit” to Google. There is no priority submit for Google. In fact, the only way to submit a site to Google directly is through our Add URL page or through the Webmaster Tools and you can do this yourself at no cost whatsoever.

I found your site on technorati and read a few of your other posts. Keep up the good work. I just added your RSS feed to my Google News Reader. Looking forward to reading more from you.

For those do-it-your-selfers, be sure to understand off line optimization and online optimization for your website. If you’re not great at seo or you want faster results for your website to show up on the first results page, you can always get into the adwords program at google.

It is something I will keep in mind. In trying to grow a business it is hard to resist a “gimmick” that makes promises which happen to be what you are looking to achieve. I will keep this article in mind and look for more of your articles in the future
